Underage alcohol and marijuana use is a growing problem in our local schools. Drug addiction affects children from all socioeconomic backgrounds. We know that there are factors that lead to a child being at risk for drug dependency, including poor self-esteem, weakness in problem-solving, lack of coping skills, environmental instability, and poor social skills. We want to ensure that our students have the tools and strength to avoid behaviors that will negatively impact the rest of their lives.
